Laurel Farms is a standout farm in OlKalou, Kenya for superior quality laurel roses. The farm grows high quality roses and Alstromeria in 40Ha which is at an altitude of 2350 m above sea level. Laurel farms is a flagship farm of Black Tulip Group. The farm grows 35+ varieties of premium roses in 39 Ha and 24+ varieties of Alstroemeria on 1 Ha. The Laurel flowers are well known for their big heads, beautiful bloom with strong long stems and foliage. Apart from the commercial varieties, our passion for flowers and roses make us constantly assess new varieties for breeders to improvise our portfolio. As Kenya’s leading flower growers and exporters, the farm has total annual production of about 25 million stems.

We have an amazing team of 565 employees and we strive to provide the best work and social conditions for all. We work closely with the communities around our farm and with a Corporate Social responsibility, we give full/partial school fees sponsorship to deserving students. We have provided computer literacy courses & driving course under worker empowerment training programs. Around 117 needy families were benefited from our water tanks and affordable iron sheet housing project. We also, provide clean water to the neighboring community.

The Green Culture project is part of our environmental sustainability as we focus on renewable, biodegradable, environment-friendly methods to improve productivity at the farm and to protect the soil and surrounding. Quality, consistency, perfection, and sustainability are at our core.
