In 2009, Black Tulip launched its very own freight and logistics division under the name “Garden Freight Logistics”, with a singular aim to streamline its shipments and enhance its supply chain operations. Based at the main Nairobi International airport premises (Jomo Kenyatta International Airport), Garden Freight adopts an advanced operational infrastructure to ship products from its own farms to various destinations around the world. It is also designed to meet its clients’ freight forwarding needs, through its year-round implementation of superior administration & documentation, along with a large scale storage facility.

By establishing valuable strategic alliances with leading airliners and transport service providers, we have managed to incorporate best industry practices in shipping and logistics to ensure that our products are taken through the distribution network with precision and delivered to end-users in immaculate condition.

Housing a 360 cubic meters (2,000 Sq. Ft.) cold storage facility with the capacity to hold more than 15 tons of cargo at a time, Garden Freight Logistics is designed to augment any kind of temperature-sensitive volume shipments for its clients and business partners.
